Gina Harrell is an accomplished Creative Executive and Line Producer with extensive experience in music videos and other short form digital content. Gina was Head of Video Production at Elektra Entertainment under the legendary Sylvia Rhone and later SVP of Video Production at Universal Motown and Republic Records for both Ms. Rhone and Chairman Monte Lipman. Gina has worked with artists such as Jay-Z, Missy Elliot, Miley Cyrus, The Scissor Sisters , Kid Cudi , Charli XCX, Mariah Carey, The Lonely Island, Franz Ferdinand, Future, and Kanye West, to name a few.

Gina was also an Executive Producer, along with Danny Glover, of the acclaimed feature documentary, Soundtrack For a Revolution. The film provided an inside view into how protest music, sung during sit-ins and marches, helped galvanize the 1960’s Civil Rights Movement. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and featured riveting interviews by Harry Belafonte, Congressman John Lewis, and powerful performances by artists such as The Roots, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Richie Havens, and John Legend.

In 2015 Gina relocated from NY to Los Angeles, where she was recruited by Vice Media in Venice to join the launch of their online channel partnership with Live Nation, called Live Nation TV. At Vice, Gina and her team produced an exciting slate of short docu-series’ about what life is like on the road for major artists on tour. In one format they explored artists’ favorite things to do on their days off in their most beloved touring cities. Carly Rae Jepsen sampled famous bakeries in Tokyo, while Pusha T spent a day popping in and out of hip clothing boutiques in Shoreditch, London.

Gina frequently produces for celebrated video director Diane Martel and works independently for clients such as Sony Music Entertainment, AESOP, Conde Nast , Black Dog Films, Apple Music, Roc Nation, Pulse Films , and Hound Content.

Last year Gina produced a groundbreaking 3-D mapped film projection project called “As of A Now” for Baltimore’s Light City Festival, with the visionary directing collective TNEG (Elissa Moorhead, Arthur Jafa and, Malik Sayeed) through Strangelove Films.

Gina is currently Head of Video Production and Content Development at Epic Records in Culver City, Los Angeles. There she handles official music videos, lyric videos, visualizers , behind the scenes, and a variety of other short form content for the all genre’s of the label’s stellar roster. Including artists such as Camilla Cabello, Travis Scott, Future, Madison Beer, 21 Savage, Meghan Trainor , Black Eyed Peas, and a host of talented young creators on the rise.
